Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lexplair.com (“Lexplair,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards your personal information when you use our website, tools, and services. By using Lexplair, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Email address — when you create an account or sign in via magic link.
  • Payment information — when you purchase a document template. Payment details (card number, billing address) are processed directly by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Communications — when you email us at support@lexplair.com.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, time on site, links clicked, and browser/device type, collected via analytics tools.
  • Session data — authentication session tokens stored in cookies by Supabase to keep you signed in.
  • IP address and general location — logged by our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages) for security and performance purposes.

How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate your account and grant access to purchased documents.
  • To process payments and fulfill purchases via Stripe.
  • To send you transactional emails — sign-in links, purchase receipts.
  • To improve our website, tools, and content based on usage patterns.
  • To respond to support requests you initiate.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your email address and account data are stored on Supabase's servers.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe stores your payment method and billing information under their own PCI-compliant systems.
  • Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare processes all web traffic through their network.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (magic links, receipts).

Cookies

Lexplair uses cookies for two purposes: authentication (Supabase session cookies, which are strictly necessary) and analytics. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. Disabling session cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

Affiliate Links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products and services we believe are genuinely useful. We disclose affiliate relationships where required by the FTC and applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records (e.g., tax and financial records for up to 7 years).

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing of your data.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@lexplair.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Lexplair is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Lexplair after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
